Early Spring, sketch

An amazingly clear sunny day. The banks of the river are still covered with snow. Along the river and on a small island there are sunny, slender birches. Their yellow, foliage gleams with golden lights. A clear blue sky covered by white clouds. This bright spring etude was created in 1988 by Russian artist Mark Kremer in the open air in Karelia.
