Artist Kakajan hails from Turkmenistan, a country where horses are very popular. They are one of the symbols of the country. As a child, his father took Kakajan to the hippodrome to ride real Turkmen horses. These memories are very dear to the artist, and in this picture he captured one of those horses that he loved to ride as a child.
