Balaam Island

On this marvelous and rocky island in its depths there are sketes and a monastery. Pilgrims strive for it, the harsh nature of the north, where mighty trees grow on moss-covered stones rather in spite of. In winter, the island has cold winds and from storms, a bizarre pattern freezes on the edges of the island. There are not many animals on the island, but the snakes fell in love with the island.
