Alexander Nevsky, Victory!

Alexander Nevsky was a very creative leader in the history of Russia, his decisions were striking in their eccentricity and simplicity in achieving success.  In the picture, I applied modern methods and techniques, maximized the relief to convey the atmosphere of the dynamics of the battle, not only in composition but mainly in color and texture I tried to convey the sounds of what was happening, the cracking of breaking ice, the snoring of horses and the triumphant cries of the winners. This picture is an image of the victory of the Russian mind and ingenuity, faith in ones own strength and the help of the whole nature of the native land in our rightful cause! The golden background in the process of painting was almost closed and remained only at the ends of the picture, giving the impression of a gold bar with a printed image.
