Biography

Elena Kalashnikova was born in Moscow, Russia and graduated in 1987 the painting faculty ofone of Moscow universities. More than 20 years she is a member of professional Union of Russian Painters and successfully exhibits her oil paintings in numerous shows and galleries both in Russia and in Europe and other countries.
Her works landscapes- natural or architectural, flowers, still lives - is masterly and thrilled mixture of traditions of French impressionism and Russian realism. Her paintings emanate optimism, express joy of life, they always bring
to the people the positive mood and impression: in what beautiful world we live.
This is a reason that Elena s works are in numerous private collections not only in Russia but in France, Germany, USA,
Korea and other countries.
From 1990 till present time Elena participated in more than 120 exhibitions in Russia and Europe.
