Mystery of the Sphere

This artwork began with the sphere — the origin from which the entire composition was born. It pushed apart the folds of drapery, shaping their curves and flow, like fabric concealing a secret. Around it, a form emerged where the calm perfection of the sphere contrasts with the softness of lines, uniting stillness and movement.
The folds of drapery come alive in the light: they deepen into shadow or glow with gentle highlights, revealing new facets at every angle. In their contours one can sense a hint of feminine dcollet — a subtle and refined reference to femininity, beauty, and the birth of form. All the lines are flowing and feminine, creating an impression of softness and elegance.
The work was created from draped fabric, initially cast in plaster and then strengthened through several additional layers of plaster and texture pastes. This process gave the panel true sculptural depth (5 cm), while preserving the natural drapery. The surface was painted with two layers of warm-toned acrylic between white and ivory, a color that feels refined and welcoming in interior spaces. Brushstrokes remain visible, making the artwork lively and authentic rather than polished or artificial.
