Mother-of-Pearl Flower of Life

This relief painting was created as a contemporary reimagining of the ancient symbol of the Flower of Life. My intention was to design a piece that feels almost monochrome, refined and timeless, as if it were a decorative relief on an ancient wall, carrying eternal meaning.
At the center lies the Flower of Life, surrounded by a constellation of ornamental details: spirals of expanding circles, honeycomb patterns, branches, and geometric matrices. Each element is delicately integrated, forming a perfectly balanced composition where sacred geometry meets decorative textures.
The color palette is subtle and delicate. At first glance, the piece appears monochrome, yet it reveals a rich harmony of shades: from sandy and nude tones to soft peach and dusty green. The dominant hues remain ivory and light beige, enriched with pearlescent pigments. These shimmering layers make the surface come alive, constantly changing under the light.
