Lily of the Valley

Technique: clay casts, casting, painting.
The background, painted with thick strokes of acrylic, contrasts with the delicacy of the leaves: the deep blue bottom seems to sink into the ground, sprouting with scarlet, yellow, and emerald flashes, hinting at a mysterious garden. The top, becoming lighter, dissolves into a blue with white streaks, as if reflecting the sky.
