Karayan Khachatur is a modern Russian artist. Recently, he became interested in a new trend in contemporary art called upcycling (from the English "upcycling", which can be translated as "wider application") — this is the reuse of things with giving them new functionality.which involves turning old, outdated goods into new art objects. Upcycling as a way of creating works of art is primarily an alternative to traditional forms of art. Modern society has become addicted to consumerism, unaware that the planet's resources are finite. Its concept is that from objects that are not recycled for various reasons, you can create works of art, giving them a second life and turning them into a functional product, a decorative item in a modern interior.
