Grigoryan Mike

Biography

Born on 03.12.1946 in Leninakan (now Gyumri).
Graduated from Yerevan art school (1969), art-graphic faculty of Chuvash state pedagogical Institute (1978).
The main artist on the construction of the Cheboksary industrial tractor plant (1973-1979), artist CTPC Art Fund of the RSFSR.
From 1990 he teaches at the painting Department of Chelyabinsk state pedagogical University. Painter, teacher, member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1990).
He is known for picturesque landscapes, portraits, still lifes and paintings dedicated to Armenia and Chuvashia.
Member of the Union of artists (1990).

• In 2016 he was Awarded the gold medal of the Union of artists of Russia with the silver cross of the Union of Armenians of Russia.
