Alexey P. Akindinov.
1977 - was born in the city of Ryazan, Russia.

ORNAMENTALISM (the meaning of the term) is a style in the visual arts that reflects the visible or imaginary world through the prism of ornamental perception. In ornamentalism, patterns are layered on the plot or shine through reality, or are projected onto visible objects, covering in most cases the entire surface of the work of art. This creates the effect of the multi-layered ornamental structure and texture of being. At some points, the depicted objects themselves can turn into patterns. But in all cases, the ornaments become a realistic part of the plot, moving from the function of a planar decor to the material, spatial world. Ornamentalism is an ornamented reality, a synthesis of patterns with reality, which, integrating with each other, give birth to a new reality. Its dominant component remains the preservation of the laws of linear and aerial perspective in painting and graphics, as well as the preservation of real proportions and a single realistic color scheme. Works made in the style of ornamentalism are also characterized by realistic laws of displaying light, shadows and highlights. The artistic techniques of ornamentalism differ from the stylistic principles of the modern era or the Early Renaissance, where the ornament occupied only the decorative pictorial part. In these periods, ornamentation had only a planar function, not obeying the laws of linear, spatial and aerial perspectives - the patterns only framed the plot and were depicted on one plane. In the style of ornamentalism, the pattern turns into the general atmosphere of the work, translucent mainly through its entire surface. The creator of this concept and who implemented it in his works is the famous Russian painter Alexey Akindinov. His idea of ornamentalism affects not only the fine arts, but philosophy and worldview in general.
