Biography

Ashot Khachkalyan
Was born in 1968 in Leninakan (Gyumri), Armenia. In 1984 graduated from the art school named after S.Merkurov. In 1986 entered the Moscow Academic Art College of memory 1905. Continued his studies at V.Stepanayan`s studio in 1989-1993. Since 1994 is a member of the IFA of Russia. The participant of exhibitions since 1990. Ashot Khachkalyan`s work is in the Modern Art Museum Yerevan, Parajanov`s house museum in Yerevan (Armenia), in private and corporate collections of many countries.
