Biography
Vitaliy Tsarev
My name is Vitaliy Tsarev. I was born in 1974 in the beautiful city of Samara, located on the Volga River, where the wide river meets the endless sky, and the sunsets seem as if they were created to be captured on canvas.
From my earliest childhood, I was one of those children who did not simply look at the world, but tried to draw it, take it apart, reassemble it, and add something of my own. I was always drawn to art — to colors, to the scent of oil paints, to that magical moment when a new story begins to be born on a blank canvas. While some dreamed of becoming astronauts, I was already exploring my own universes — right there on paper.
Of course, life made its adjustments. My creative path was paused — not because inspiration disappeared, but because it was a time of searching, gaining experience, and inner growth. As it turned out, love for painting is something stubborn. It does not disappear. It patiently waits for its moment.
At a more conscious stage of my life, I returned to what I love — not according to a plan, not out of calculation, but following the call of my heart. Intuitively. Honestly. Truly. In this return, I discovered a deeper sense of freedom, maturity, and gratitude for the opportunity to create again.
Today, I create paintings that, for me, are more than just images. They are a dialogue with the world — with nature, with light, with the inner state of the soul. In my works, there is silence and energy, reflection and ñîëíå÷íàÿ ðàäîñòü. I strive to paint in such a way that a work of art does not merely decorate a space, but lives within it — inspiring, warming, and reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us.
I am an artist who once decided simply to listen to his heart.
And it seems that this was the best decision I have ever made.
