With great pleasure, I created this painting titled "Autumn in the Mountains." It is an oil painting on canvas measuring 50 by 65 cm, where I aimed to capture the beauty and tranquility of autumn in the mountains, drawing inspiration from my travels and memories.

In the foreground, you will see golden grass and rocks by the shore of a small mountain lake, whose surface mirrors the surrounding landscape. The water in the lake is bright blue with subtle highlights, emphasizing its clarity and calmness. On the sides of the painting, tall trees stand — their needles are painted in warm autumn tones: from bright yellow to orange and brown, creating a sense of golden radiance. These trees frame the scene, inviting the viewer to enter this world.

In the center, a majestic mountain peak dominates — sharp, rocky, with snow-capped peaks that contrast with the warm autumn hues. Behind it, other mountains are visible, softer and more distant, covered in forests dressed in their autumn attire. The sky is slightly cloudy, with soft gray and white clouds that add depth and atmosphere without overshadowing the overall harmony.

I used thick oil strokes to convey the texture of the rocks, leaves, and water — making the painting vibrant and almost tangible. This work is an ode to the transition of seasons, when summer green gives way to autumn gold, and the eternal mountains remind us of natures resilience. I hope it brings you the same sense of peace and admiration that I felt while creating it!
