The concept of the painting revolves around the duality of human emotions — the conflicting states that arise when a single situation evokes multiple, often opposing, reactions. The textured elements, resembling overlapping petals or plates, create a swirling field where one impulse blends into another, mirroring the multilayered nature of perception. Depending on lighting and viewpoint, the metallic surface shifts, reinforcing the idea that perspective shapes experience.
