Sea Flower

"Sea Flower" is an expressive textured artwork on a 30 cm round canvas in which Elena Russkikh explores the interplay of natural forces, organic forms, and deep symbolic structures. The central raised shape, created with texture paste and acrylic, evokes at once a flower, a whirlpool, and the imprint of an ancient seashell, leaving interpretation open to the viewer.
The deep blue background suggests an unfathomable sea — a space of mystery, contemplation, and inner quiet. Concentric textured lines convey fluid movement, echoing currents shaped by nature itself.
A sandy texture along the outer edge creates a gentle contrast with the cool blue depth, forming a boundary between the known and the unknown, the earthly and the elemental.
