The series was created in the wild on the seashore at the unique power place MEGANOM (Crimea) -one of my favorite, mystical, and magical places on the planet. Painting from life here is a particular kind of pleasure...The joy of oneness with nature, 4 months of a happy summer...
Silence and tranquility permeate this shore. The rocks, polished over millennia, are like sleeping whales frozen at the very edge of the surf. Their bronze-gold and silver sides glow softly in the diffused light of the pre-sunset sky.
