Study № 3 from the series “Angle of View”

This painting can be perceived as a reflection on the boundary between solitude and openness, between a protected inner world and that which calls from outside. At the center of the composition appears an open door, which becomes not merely an architectural detail, but a symbol of openness, movement toward the light, and the possibility of stepping beyond a closed state.
The oval format intensifies this feeling. The contrast between rich cool blue and turquoise shades and warm ochre, orange, and golden tones creates an internally dynamic environment. Here, light does not simply illuminate the space, but becomes an independent protagonist of the composition: it penetrates inward, transforms the surface, and sets the emotional rhythm of the entire work.
