Study № 2 from the series “Angle of View”

The painting reveals an emotionally charged space in which the everyday image of an umbrella is transformed into a metaphor for inner protection, fragility, and solitary presence within the flow of external forces. The composition is built around the central figure of an open umbrella, which becomes a sign of vulnerability and, at the same time, resistance, as if preserving personal space amid an emotional downpour.
The contrast between warm orange-yellow tones and cool blue-cyan hues creates a dynamic atmosphere in which light and rain coexist as opposing yet interconnected elements. White drops, rhythmically distributed across the surface, add a sense of pulsation and continuous movement to the composition.
