Pink Still Life with Green Teddy Bears. Act 2: "Oh, Who's That?" (thoughts)
Author: Titova Svetlana

canvas/acrylic 30cm x 60cm 2025
The second part of the series is even more ironic and theatrical.
The teddy bears, already sated with ros, no longer reach for the goblet, but lie relaxed against a bright pink background. Their poses are naive and carefree—thoughts have lost control, yet continue to exist on their own.
The goblet, with its face turned toward the bears, seems to observe them: man remains a spectator, not the master of his mind. The contrast between the black bottle, the gray face, and the bright green bears against the pink background transforms the still life into an allegory: often, its not man who controls his thoughts, but his thoughts that control him.
The painting could be a standalone piece or a continuation of the first part—"Pink Still Life with Green Teddy Bears. Act 1: Its Not Me, Its the Bears (Thoughts)—forming a single diptych about the life of thoughts.
