Blue irises

This work depicts blue irises. They greet the dawn of a beautiful summer day.
Irises were named after the goddess Iris, the daughter of Zeus and Hera. Iris descended along the rainbow to mortals to convey the will of the gods.
Many legends are associated with this flower. According to one of them, once upon a time the rainbow broke into many fragments, and these fragments scattered all over the earth, and from them grew beautiful flowers, namely, irises. Indeed, irises can be of many different colors. And each color has its own symbolism. Blue irises symbolize devotion, trust and hope.
