Flood Meadow

This work immerses the viewer in the atmosphere of a spring meadow flooded by a river. The painting is executed in monotype. At the center of the composition is a clear expanse of water, reflecting the sky and surrounding nature. The water appears motionless, yet life lurks within its surface: gentle waves and barely noticeable ripples. In the upper part of the painting, the sky is painted in unusual yellow-green hues, as if infused with the sap and energy of spring grasses. The large sun at its zenith continues to generously share its warmth, warming the distant forests on the horizon, the water, and the meadow. In the lower part of the composition, dense young grass, soaked in water, seems to invite one to stroll barefoot and feel its softness underfoot. Bright yellow butterflies flutter above the grass. The painting conveys a feeling of warmth, spring energy, freedom, rebirth, and happiness.
