paper/pastel 30cm x 50cm 2026
“Still Life with Grapes” (2026) is an elegant dry pastel on paper (30 50 cm), where the rich depth of blue and emerald grape tones harmonizes with a refined blue-and-white porcelain vase and decorative patterned background, evoking a sense of European charm and timeless classicism. This artwork was created after returning from a European trip. My husband and I wandered through flea markets, visited atmospheric cafs and charming old restaurants where time seems to slow down. There, I rediscovered my love for blue-and-white ceramics, aged textures, and the richness of ripe fruit displayed on antique tables.
In this still life, I wanted to combine European elegance with the warmth of home. Deep blue grapes, luminous green clusters, a decorative porcelain bowl, and ornamental tiles create a dialogue between classical aesthetics and refined realism.
This piece would beautifully complement a kitchen, dining room, living space, or an interior with classic, Provence, or eclectic elements. It brings color depth, sophistication, and a subtle feeling of travel into the space.
