Metaphors of Reality

Snow falls from a spoon onto a fairytale winter forest. The moon is divided into cycles, like a lemon into slices. The apex of the metaphor: a galaxy becomes a compote, and the sun—a source of life—rests on a celestial pedestal, a dish.

Sitting with a cup of tea on my veranda, I was inspired by the idea of the unity of the microcosm and macrocosm. The tea still life symbolizes coziness and the everyday, while the elements of the cosmos and natural forces add depth and philosophical meaning, reminding us that even in simple things, one can find a reflection of the infinite universe, where everything resonates with unity and wholeness.
