Biography

Moscow graphic artist, designer, teacher, writer and scientist. He works in the field of academic and color graphics - pen drawing, as well as in line art and silhouette.

Evgeny Ladygin was born in 1967 in Moscow in the family of the outstanding Soviet designer Vladislav Ladygin. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Graphic Arts and postgraduate studies at Moscow State University (former. MGPI named after V.I.Lenin). Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSHR) and the International Federation of Artists (UNESCO).
The creator of the unique style of color graphics "Pen Painting". The works are represented in collections (the State Historical Museum, the Museum of the History and Reconstruction of Moscow, the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum, etc.), decorate the interiors of offices, private and public spaces. In the version reproduced on metal, they are used as VIP souvenirs by the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Moscow City Hall, the Moscow City Duma, the Ministry of Defense, private companies, including Russian Railways, Rosneft, etc. He collaborated as an art director and designer with a number of government organizations and private companies. Among the most significant projects are the development of corporate identity and souvenir products for GTU STANKIN, MGSU (MISI), RosEvroBank, Baltimore, Decomaster, GreenFilds, the Rostov Kremlin State Museum, and many others.

He is the author of more than 100 publications in the field of theory and methodology of fine art, design and advertising, including monographs and teaching aids. He is the creator of the integrated composition methodology in literature and art "Portrait of my Land" and the creative format "Guide through the eyes of an artist", in which he acts as a writer, a local history scholar and an illustrator.

A regular participant in the exhibitions of the Russian Academy of Arts and the Creative Union of artists. 12 solo exhibitions were held in Moscow and other cities of the Russian Federation. Member of the jury of a number of international and All-Russian competitions, expert of the Artistic and Expert Council of the New Names Foundation.
