Biography
Alena Yastrebkova is a watercolor artist, member of Union Watercolor Russia.
Born in 1984 in the small town in Russia called Novoulyanovsk. She graduated from an art school and has University degree in Computer Graphics. For a long time she worked by this specialty, then her interest in traditional painting grew into a real passion.
She works in watercolor technique - lively, emotional and at the same time soft and airy. Most of the works represent landscapes with an atmosphere of deep connection with nature. They can be called romantic or dramatic. The viewer is invited to be an observer of a usually fleeting moment, given space for solitude and internal dialogue.
In 2017-2021 she studied with excellent, famous watercolor masters. She took 1th and prize places in watercolor painting competitions.
Since 2023 he has been a member of Union Watercolor Russia (UWR).
Lives and works in Ulyanovsk.
