Walking around Izhevsk. The Friendship of Nations Monument and Leonid

The second painting in the "Walks Around Izhevsk" series is "The Monument to Friendship of Peoples and Leonid." 140 steps lead to the monument, located next to the renovated Izhevsk embankment. The paintings are executed in a mixed-media oil painting. Thick, impasto brushstrokes are combined with smooth, mirror-like asphalt. The 30x40 size canvas on cardboard features a subdued gray-brown color scheme. They will fit perfectly into a modern interior.
