This painting was created in the city of Troms, located in northern Norway, which was the starting point for the great polar expeditions of Nansen and Amundsen in the 19th-20th century. The city, which played a key role in the exploration of unknown lands, inspired me to create this series of works. For me, Troms is not just a tourist destination; it is a space filled with dreams of the new, the creation of plans for the future. During the plein air, I searched for the unique color of Norway. This work is part of a series presented at the Nelimarkka Art Museum in Finland, and it conveys a sense of dreaminess and uncertainty, a spirit of exploration.
