The Old Lake

This picture was painted by me based on the memories of a beautiful place I discovered during a hike. This place touched me with its privacy from prying eyes, silence and comfort. Looking at this landscape, thoughts calm down. The painting is painted in a calm color scheme. Green is perceived as one of the most comfortable colors, it is able to extinguish emotions and create a peaceful atmosphere. Looking at the green color, the eyes relax, the frost calms down, the anxiety goes away and the peace of the picture turns into peace of mind.
