One of the most picturesque places in Crimea is Gurzuf. He is very much loved by artists. Everything in Gurzuf is magical and unusual. The narrow winding mountain streets look as if they were invented by a storyteller. Even the mountains there look like bears. Well, at least one for sure.
There is a picturesque bay in Gurzuf, which gives shelter to boats and speedboats. It is especially beautiful from the sea. No wonder Anton Pavlovich Chekhov himself chose this place at one time and built himself a cottage, not far from the boat station.
When you get to this bay, you do not leave the feeling of fabulousness and quiet joy. It was this state that I wanted to convey to the painting. Therefore, it is painted in calm pastel shades, in harmony with each other. Quiet, modest happiness lives there.
