Chapter 7: South Korea. Seoul

Gyeongbokgung is a symbol of South Koreas national identity and history. Behind the building are the majestic mountains, as if protecting and elevating the cultural heritage, and in front is the water, reflecting everything that is happening, like a mirror between the past and the present.
An interesting symbolism is expressed in the girls clothing: her dress transitions into the landscape, in which the outlines of roads and streets can be guessed - it reminds of a map of the city. The girl becomes part of the land, culture, country. She connects the modern generation with the historical and natural context of Korea.
Her pose, pointing towards the palace, expresses calmness and respect. The loose hair, the free lines of the mountains and water, and the bright sky create an atmosphere of freedom, peace and harmony.
