Chapter 2: India. Agra

A girl stands motionless in front of the Taj Mahal. Her geometric skirt is decorated with lines symbolizing the map of Agra. The use of silver elements in the heroines skirt creates a contrast with the dark background of the fabric, adding depth and mystery. The cool blue and silver tones balance out the warm beige and gold on the mausoleum.

The Taj Mahal is depicted with a slight blur effect, symbolizing the process of recreating reality from dreams. The girl had dreamed since childhood to visit India and see its main symbol, and it happened.

The symmetrical perspective leading the eye to the main architectural object emphasizes the depth of space.

Part 2. India. Agra” is the second painting in the series ‘The Wizard of the Emerald East’, which was inspired by my favorite childhood book and passion for travel.
