The author Vladimir Sorochkin is a Crimean impressionist artist. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Sevastopol. Graduated from the Yalta Art School named after F.A.Vasiliev, an active participant in art exhibitions, plein airs, projects such as Russian Atlantis (St. Petersburg) and other projects of Crimea and Russia.

The painting was painted in Chersonesos at the All-Russian plein Air "Russian Atlantis" in the genre of impressionism.
