Biography

Was born in Moscow. My profession is an economist, but all my life I dreamed of painting. After 40 years, I decided to fulfill my dream and graduated from the school of academic drawing and painting.
Now I am a Member of the Association of Plein Air Artists.
I paint in oils and watercolors.
I prefer to paint on plein air, because it helps me better feel nature: its colors and condition. Although plein air can be difficult: the weather often changes, the wind blows, it rains, to some places (especially in the mountains) you have to walk a long time, climb up with heavy equipment. But the feelings from seeing the beauties are simply incredible! In each painting I try to convey the emotions experienced, to share with the viewer the delight of the beauty of our small and fragile planet Earth.

In 2022, I became the winner of the "Plein Air Heat" and "Landscapes of High Music" competitions dedicated to the birthday of Isaac Levitan.
Also in 2022, my work was presented at the Ryazanoff Gallery in Melbourne.
My personal exhibition opened in 2023.
My works are in private collections in Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Australia, Montenegro and Bulgaria.
