Biography

Natalia Mamaeva was born in Russia, Saratov. Graduated from Saratov art school. Graduated from the foreign languages department of Saratov State University. For all her life she has been combining linguistics and painting. Works in the genre of landscape and still-life. An object of her inspiration is the human inner world, a state of a soul. In still-life the artist seeks to render it with the help of objects used in every day life, like watches, books, playing cards, photo frames. The artist's pictures are found in private collections of Russia, Chechnya, Italy, Germany, Israel. The artist's first solo exhibition was organized in 2005 within the phrameworks of the Council of Europe project "Creation of the Cultural Capital". Her second solo exhibition "Old Saratov" took place in 2008 in Saratov Cultural Center named by I.Stolypin.

.She regularly takes part in art exhibitions in Saratov department of the Artists Union and Saratov Drama Theatre.
