Biography
Elena Shchelchkova was born in Zelenogorsk, a suburb of St. Petersburg
Lives and works in St. Petersburg.
Graduated from the Leningrad Art and Graphic Pedagogical College, graphic department
Member of the Creative Union of Artists (IFA UNESCO) since 1997.
Member of the Russian Union of Artists since 2010
Painter, graphic artist, performer
Conducts master classes on rag doll author and graphic technique monotype
Participant of exhibitions, art competitions and festivals held in Russia and abroad.
Author of more than thirty solo exhibitions, performances and art projects.
Works in the range – painting, graphics, installation, performance, dolls, textiles.

The Museum of Contemporary Art of the Leningrad Region in Rauma (Finland), the Tsarskoye Selo Collection Museum (Tsarskoye Selo), the National Art Museum of Novosibirsk, the State Museum Association "Art Culture of the Russian North" (Arkhangelsk), the Rooster Museum (Petushki), the Pskov Gallery, the City Hall of Prushkov (Poland), in the collection of Sri Chinmoy.
