Biography
A physicist by education, after graduating from the university he was enlisted into the army, where he was engaged in scientific work. Retired colonel. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize in science and technology. Co-author of 5 scientific monographs in the field of radar, published in the USSR, Great Britain, China, and the USA.
Alexander’s main hobbies are wildlife travel, mountaineering and painting. He is the full member of the Russian Geographical Society.
In his works, he strives to capture the beauty of nature, untouched by man. As the subjects of his paintings, he uses only what he personally observed in numerous travels.
He studied painting at the Art School "Giotto" and the Art School of Arts "Palmira-Art" in St. Petersburg. Member of the Union of Russian Artists and the Eurasian Art Union. Active member (academician) of the Petrovsky Academy of Sciences and Arts.
Alexander Pasmurov took part in many international exhibitions and online painting competitions. Participant of charity art auctions held by the Art Deco Museum (Moscow). Regularly participates in exhibitions in St. Petersburg and Moscow.
Alexander’s works are in private collections in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Volgograd, Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Ulan-Ude, Chelyabinsk, Altai, the Caucasus, England, Bulgaria, Israel, Kyrgyzstan, and Latvia.
