The Rusty Moon

The specific name clearly shows why the Moon is made in such an unusual color scheme.
Our beloved satellite doesnt look like that at all. The picture conveys the real characteristics of the Moons surface, but more exaggerated for the convenience of studying the relief. These bright colors of blue, orange, etc. show the location of metals in the lunar soil.
