Summer day

The painting depicts a warm summer day in the forest. I really wanted to convey the feeling of warm air, a light breeze.
The girl in the foreground with a net in her hands adds life and lightness to the work.
Shadows from huge spruce "paws" fall on the house in the background, which helps to convey bright lighting.
The writing of this story was inspired by just such a summer day when my children caught butterflies and bees with nets in their hands. It was an ordinary day filled with happiness and love for everything around them. I really wanted to put my warm feelings into this work.
The painting was painted from nature at a dacha in the village of Beloostrov. I drew the figure partly from nature, but I had to collect a pose from some photos. I painted the face exclusively from nature, giving the child a tablet, setting it at the right angle, so that the light from the tablet illuminated the face well, it turned out to be beneficial for fitting the girl into the landscape.
The work looks good in the living room, nursery, hallway.
