Biography

I was born in Stavropol in the North Caucasus. I got a higher education as an economist, and also have a number of professional certificates. At the same time, I have always felt an interest to be an artist. During studies at art school and various courses, I tried many different materials. Since 2012, I have consciously concentrated on watercolor painting and began to study it. I have passed dozens of educational master classes with the world's leading watercolorists, studied features of various techniques. Since 2017, I have chosen my own plot direction - a mountain landscape, a portrait of a mountain. I am fond of mountain tourism and mountaineering, downhill skiing, deeply and professionally immersed in this sport. As my artistic skills developed, it became logical to focus on the subject that catches me. I try to convey the state of the atmosphere, weather aura, lighting and thereby express the character of a particular mountain, peak. For me, every mountain is like a person, an individual. That's why my genre is a portrait, a portrait of a mountain.

Participation in exhibitions:
2017, 2018, 2019 Fabriano in Watercolor Festival, Italy, Fabriano as part of a Russian delegation, where I was included as a result of passing the national selection (approximately 20-22 people out of 150-300 participants).
Moscow, Art Kremlin Gallery, 2019
Moscow, Lega Gallery, exhibition "Journey with stops", 2019
Tarusa, gallery of the Moscow Union of Artists, exhibition "From water and color", 2021
Moscow, 2nd International Festival "The World of High watercolor", 2021
Tarusa, gallery of the Moscow Union of Artists, exhibition "Clean Windows", 2022

My paintings are in the collection of people who are not indifferent to the mountains, including famous professional climbers. And the best compliment for me is the burning eyes of the viewer, his words "I remember, everything was like that", that color, that light, that pattern of rocks and the texture of the stone there. When he recognises not only the mountain, but also his emotions. It energizes me tremendously and gives me joy.
