Cubic Whimsies

This oil painting on canvas measures 60x60 cm. Its stretched on a frame. It has all the necessary fastenings, so its ready to hang on the wall right away.

I originally painted "Cubic Whimsies" as part of a small series of still lifes in the Cubist style. But this particular piece didnt turn out as Id envisioned. I didnt like it at all, and it sat in my studio for two years. Now its time has come, and I had an idea for how to improve it. I used more saturated colors, added some details, and added flowers from another painting. The result is a very joyful still life in an avant-garde style.
