The "Circus" series was originally conceived as a metaphor for peoples social masks and their true feelings and emotions, which everyone carries within themselves and doesnt always express as they really are. But during the process, I became truly captivated by the real circus. I was captivated by the grace and beauty of each performer—clowns, acrobats, animal trainers... Their almost unreal skill, bordering on magic.
