They appeared in the urban series for a reason. I find it interesting that in an urban environment, animals and people become similar to each other. Dogs and cats become humanized, and its hard to imagine them in the wild. But its also hard to imagine humans in the wild; weve become too accustomed to fast deliveries and comfort. The cats and dogs in my works seem to draw a parallel to human authenticity.
