Biography

The artist Maryat Shurukhova was born in 1985 in Kabardino -Balkaria, Russia. She has been a member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 2009. She works in the genre of landscape in the technique of oil painting, continuing and developing the traditions of the Russian realistic school, more precisely, its direction "romantic realism". The main genre in which Maryat Shurukhova works is landscape. Among the large number of works are seascapes and urban landscapes. Each work shows the viewer the nature of different countries: landscapes of the Crimea, Russia, landscapes of Italy, Greece, France and many others. The artist takes an active part in exhibition activities in Russia, China, Qatar and the UAE. Lives and works in Moscow and Dubai.
