The original oil painting "To MYSELF" is made in the unique authors technique of relief oil painting. The painting depicts centuries-old oaks, in a sunny forest clearing. This picture is about contemplation, about unity with nature, about eternity, inner dialogue, past, future and present, about serenity, willpower and nobility, about the bright feelings that are in everyone.
The Leuchtenberg estate in the vicinity of St. Petersburg has become a prototype for internal conversation and reflection. There are many beautiful locations with magnificent spreading oaks in these places. The clearing with the heroes of this story is one of such fabulous places. The workshop in which the painting was created, and at the same time the artists dacha is located next door to the place of inspiration - in the village of "Mordvinovka" on the outskirts of the estate.
The famous Russian artist I. Shishkin once visited these places and created famous canvases with Mordvinovsky oaks.
The relief of the unique authors technique conveys the mood of forest textures. A variety of expressive strokes form the crown and bark of oaks, a hilly sunny glade. The dynamics of the strokes forms smooth transitions and iridescences of forms. With all the realism, the painting retains notes of expression. The painting takes the viewer into nature, which has a calming effect.
The ends of the work are prescribed and do not require mandatory framing.
Before sending the painting is covered with a protective finish varnish (matte), a suspension is attached to the back of the stretcher.
