Lighthouse

A lighthouse in a storm is a symbol of strength and fortitude. It is not threatened by the ocean waves and bolts of lightning. Sometimes a man finds himself in dire straits. Still, he ought to fight. Still, he ought to shine.
A high-quality linen canvas on an oval stretcher was used for this artwork. The underpainting was done in watercolor to create seamless color transitions. The main part was painted with oil in a multilayer technique.
