On one sunny afternoon I was walking along Millionnaya street in Saint Petersburg, looking into every arch on my way as usual - this is one of my favourite things to do during my walks in the centre of our city - sometimes you can see really beautiful and picturesque views there, especially if you consider how contrast they are to the freshly renovated facades of the buildings. This dusty and a bit shabby courtyard wing with wooden gates which are probably over a hundred years old was at the moment transformed into a magical golden palace by bright spring sunlight - and the archway turned into some sort of portal that could lead you to historical adventures.
