Dank earth

The original oil painting picturing country fields next to a dirt road running away into the give under a soft grey sky. Dank earth and fog in early spring on an impasto-style landscape. In early spring, the snow melted, and the path appeared again. It smelled of fresh earth and last years grass. The fog disappeared into the forest, but even there it began to slowly melt.
