Abbey d’Hautecombe at the Lack Du Bourget, Haut-Savoie

It is a view of the Abbey (XII century) from the shore of the lake. There is a magnificent combination of mountains in the background, the Abbey in the centre and its reflection in the front part of the composition. The colours, shadows and highlights are playing.
The painting can be hung on the wall without a frame, as the image is continued on the ends.
