Korchagin Pavel

Biography

In spite of his yuong age he might be
characterized as a classical artist.His works are
marked by a colouristic and compositional unity
and an inner tension achived by tonal
gradation. Each of his compositions follows a
classical pattern of disposing main visual
elements to achieve a dynamic balance.
Formally a figurative painter, Korchagin with
his acute sense of structure, light and colour
is, despite his classical training and technique, an
artist of contemporary sensibility.
